Elder Law

WHAT IS ELDER LAW?

Elder law is the practice of counseling older persons and their families to ensure the older person maintains self-autonomy and financial freedom during the course of their life.  Specifically, this area of practice can include assisting clients with estate planning, estate administration, tax law, special needs law, long-term care planning, Medicare, Medicaid, contract law, or guardianship proceedings.

As individuals age, they likely require a financial and legal plan which addresses their long-term care in addition to addressing various other concerns personal to the individual.

If you are a caregiver for a parent, spouse or senior loved one or are looking to plan ahead for your golden years, you may want to consult an elder law attorney to assist you in navigating the complex legal landscape of aging.

The attorneys at Webber Law are experienced in assisting clients navigate the aging process.  We pride ourselves in taking the time to focus on the older person’s needs and advise them of all available options that will suit their needs.  Specifically, we assist clients in preserving family assets from the cost of long-term care and provide advocacy to families who are dealing with a loved one in long-term care.

Representation is customized to meet the unique needs of every individual. Our attorneys are available to discuss how we can protect your family and its assets. Call us to discuss the different elder care planning issues and ensure protection.
